The Development Team is responsible for ensuring client success by building scalable, cutting-edge enterprise solutions in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Software Developer, you will work closely with the Development Team, Technical Leads and Product Managers to build and enhance applications and components in our financial services product suite. You will gain fluency in capital market concepts and insight into the operations of investment management firms. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test quality applications, components, services, and interfaces using C# .NET, the Microsoft technology stack, JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on requirements and specifications
• Design services, modules, adapters, re-usable framework components, and APIs
• Collaborate with designers, architects, client service, and sales teams on software projects
• Be the lead developer on selected projects
• Review technical designs and application code with other developers
• Mentor entry and mid-level developers to help enhance their skills and productivity
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow development best practices and standards, including setting up and maintaining builds
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline existing systematic and operational processes
• Improve your knowledge of the financial services industry
• Some travel to local client offices may be required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related major
• Experience building new software applications and large web-based software solutions, especially in a lead developer capacity
• 4 to 8 years of development experience in C# or Java
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented concepts, data structures and algorithms
• 4 to 8 years of experience working with any RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Experience with MS SQL Server is preferred
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript is preferred
• Experience with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks is preferred (Angular, React, Vue)
• Experience with Source Control, Git and CI/CD is preferred
• Experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
